Freelance CostX Trainer / Consultant – Onsite (Oman)

Edoxi Training Institute is seeking a highly experienced CostX Implementation Specialist to deliver a corporate training and technical support program for a client in Oman.

The engagement focuses on real project workflows, template configuration, BIM mapping, cost database management, and digital tendering processes using CostX.

Engagement Details

Location : Client Site – Oman

Duration : 10 Half-Day Sessions

Audience : Quantity Surveyors & Engineers

Mode : Practical workshop + technical consultation

Training Scope

Configure customized CostX templates and reporting formats as per client requirements

Setup BoQ structures using POMI, NRM2, CESMM and Ministry project standards

Prepare cover page, trade summary, bill summary and grand summary reports

Perform elemental cost planning, detailed estimating and tender evaluation workflows

Manage digital tendering, exporting BOQs and handling revision/version control

Build and maintain rate libraries and structured cost databases using project data

Analyze historical costs for benchmarking, forecasting and reporting

Conduct BIM model mapping, troubleshooting and performance optimization for large projects

Required Qualifications

7+ years Quantity Surveying experience

3+ years advanced CostX usage & configuration

Experience with large construction or infrastructure projects

Strong BIM take-off knowledge (Revit / IFC)

Experience in template creation & cost database setup

Preferred Certifications

RIB CostX certified / implementation experience

MRICS / AIQS / CIOB

BIM / ISO 19650 knowledge
