Freelance Dynamics Developer - Offshore

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. This is a remote opportunity, ideal for a professional who enjoys solving business challenges with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and modern integration tools. This is a contract-based position with flexibility in working arrangements, focused on delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines. You’ll work closely with international colleagues to deliver tailored solutions in Business Central and the Power Platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Dynamics 365 Business Central

· Design, develop, and customize extensions using AL language.

· Work with legacy C/AL code (if required) and migrate to AL-based extensions (v2).

· Develop custom tables, pages, reports, code units, XML ports, and queries.

· Implement integrations with external systems using REST, OData, and SOAP APIs.

· Configure and optimize Business Central workflows, posting routines, and dimensions.

· Debug and troubleshoot performance issues using Event Subscribers, Page Extensions, and Telemetry.

Power Platform

· Build business solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven apps).

· Automate workflows with (Power Automate, Logic Apps) and integrate with Dynamics 365 and external APIs.

· Create and optimize Power BI dashboards for analytics and reporting.

· Work with Dataverse for secure data modelling and integration scenarios.

General Development & Integration

· Implement CI/CD pipelines for extensions using Azure DevOps.

· Manage source control (Git/Azure Repos) and follow AL coding standards.

· Perform unit testing, UAT support, and deployment across Sandbox and Production environments.

· Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Maintain proper documentation including solution designs, technical specifications, and release notes.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

· 2–3 years of proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-prem & SaaS).

· Proficiency in AL development and familiarity with legacy C/AL.

· Strong functional understanding of Business Central modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehousing).

· Solid experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).

· Experience integrating BC with external applications and APIs.

· Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and release management.

· Strong skills in SQL Server, REST/SOAP services, JSON, and XML.

· Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization abilities.

· Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.

Preferred but Not Required

· Experience with advanced automation or chatbot integration.

· Familiarity with AI/ML concepts for future-ready business scenarios.
