Freelance Food and Beverage Stock Auditor – Dubai

Project Duration: 3 days (January 2026)

Employment Type: Freelance / Temporary Short-Term Contract

Location: On-site at a high-end restaurant group in Dubai

Reporting to: Abbey 5 Star Business Development & Operations

Project Purpose

Requirement for freelance Food and Beverage Stock Auditors to support a multi-site stocktake project across three Dubai venues. The role involves assisting the team to deliver an accurate, efficient, and professional inventory count of food, beverage, and related stock items.

This is a short-term, hands-on operational role with potential to become permanent for the right candidate. It is ideal for individuals with hospitality experience (kitchen, bar, BOH, or cost-control exposure) who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow a structured audit process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate on-site stock counts for food, beverage, and consumables under the guidance of the company's lead auditors.
  • Follow the company's stocktaking procedures and counting standards with strict attention to detail.
  • Accurately measure, weigh, and record stock items using project templates and tools (training/briefing will be provided).
  • Support the team with clear labelling, organising, and cross-checking inventory areas such as fridges, freezers, bars, cellar, or dry store if required.
  • Flag discrepancies, unusual variances, or missing items to the A5S lead auditor.
  • Work with the team to ensure the stocktake is completed efficiently within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Always maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the client’s venue.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Hospitality background essential — kitchen, bar, BOH, inventory, cost control, or restaurant operations.
  • Experience with stock counting/inventory management is highly preferred.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and natural attention to detail.
  • Reliability, integrity, and ability to follow structured processes are critical.
  • Comfortable working in fridges, freezers, kitchens, and bar/storage areas.
  • Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
  • Punctual and able to commit to the full 3-day project.

Project Details

  • Dates: First 3 weeks of January 2026 (exact dates communicated separately)
  • Hours: Full-day on-site (typically early AM start)
  • Payment: Freelance day rate.
  • Dress Code: Smart black trousers, closed shoes, clean black T-shirt/polo (or as advised).
  • Training/Briefing: Provided by the company before start date.

What We’re Looking For

This project requires trustworthy, detail-oriented individuals who understand hospitality operations and can be relied on to deliver accurate stock counts. Curiosity, accuracy, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 days

Pay: AED500.00 - AED600.00 per day
