Freelance Graphic Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Graphic Designer to design and layout a high-quality coffee table book. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio of similar projects, with proven expertise in elegant visual storytelling, high-resolution image handling, and refined typography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualise and design the overall look and feel of the coffee table book
• Collaborate with content team, photographers, and printers as needed
• Create captivating layouts, select images, and ensure a visually appealing flow
• Prepare print-ready files as per publication standards and specifications
• Ensure timely delivery of design drafts and final files within agreed timelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on publication or book design
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail and visual storytelling
• Prior experience designing coffee table books or similar premium publications is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Engagement Type:

• Freelance / Assignment Basis
• Duration and fee to be discussed based on project scope

Location:

• Barakhamba Road, CP
• Occasional in-person meetings are required at least twice a week
