Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist to join our dynamic Texas based beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in makeup application, hair styling, customer service, bridal beauty, and a keen eye for detail. As a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for enhancing the beauty of our clients through various makeup techniques and services. Your creativity and expertise will play a vital role in helping clients look and feel their best for any occasion, particularly weddings.

Duties

• Provide professional makeup application services for clients, ensuring satisfaction with the final look.
• Sanitate all tools and workspaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Offer hair styling and makeup artistry to brides and bridesmaids
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences.
• Stay updated on the latest makeup and hair styling trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best options.
• Collaborate with photographers for photoshoots or events to ensure makeup looks great on camera.

Requirements

• Weekend availability is a MUST.
• Cosmetology or esthetician license (preferred)
• Fully stocked hair and/or makeup kit.
• At least 2 years of experience working weddings. (requirement)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 miles.

Skills

• Proficient in various makeup application techniques with an emphasis on bridal beauty.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices.
• Ability to perform hair styling and or makeup artistry services.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Photography skills are a plus for capturing before-and-after transformations.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
