Freelance Interior Designer

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Interior Designer to support our design team in creating functional and visually appealing interior spaces. The ideal candidate should have strong design knowledge, a good sense of aesthetics, and the ability to translate concepts into drawings and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in developing interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Create mood boards, material palettes, 2D layouts, and 3D visualizations.
• Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings, 3D models (SketchUp/3ds Max), and client presentations.
• Source materials, furnishings, and fixtures based on design requirements.
• Support in site visits, measurements, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely updates and revisions.
• Communicate design ideas clearly with team members and clients.
• Send samples or references of previous design work during applications or client presentations to showcase creativity and technical skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of Lumion or 3ds Max is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in interior design (fresher with strong portfolio may also apply).
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Portfolio of previous work (PDF or link) must be submitted along with application.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
