ABOUT THE ROLE
If you’re the kind of person who notices the tiniest details on a design (and loves fixing them), thrives on organization, and gets excited about making creative work come to life, this role is for you. As our Junior Designer, you’ll support branding, web, and social media projects—helping us bring ideas from concept to polished deliverables. From creating social templates and mockups to implementing edits and prepping assets, you’ll play an essential part in keeping the studio’s work sharp, consistent. This is a part-time contractor position reporting directly to the Founder/Creative Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist on branding projects: logo exports, color palette creation, brand edits, and brand book preparation
- Design a la carte assets on Canva as needed
- Create internal PDFs within brand guidelines Implement client edits across design projects
- Support website projects: image prep, swaps, and implementing edits (Squarespace)
- Create mockups of projects for our studio portfolio
- Design Pinterest posts and assist with scheduling/publishing
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, brand design, or social media design
- You ask questions
- Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma
- Detail-oriented (you love getting the little things right)
- Comfortable in Canva (a must!)
- Excellent at managing time and juggling multiple projects
- Proficient with Squarespace (or willing to take a course upon hiring that will be provided to you)
- Communicative (you respond promptly and clearly)
- Reliable computer and internet access
- Collaborative and open to feedback—you see critique as a growth opportunity
- Adaptable—able to pivot with shifting needs while maintaining quality
- Kind, thoughtful, and respectful in your work and communication
- Fluent in English

THE DETAILS
- Location: Nashville-based or remote (must be in the US and able to work 9–5 CST hours)
- Hours: Part-time contractor, up to 20 hours/month
- Pay: $25 - $30/hour depending on experience
