Duties

• Write clear, engaging articles adhering to AP style guidelines for consistency and professionalism
• Produce multimedia content including photography, videography, and short videos to enhance storytelling
• Edit and proofread all content meticulously to ensure factual accuracy, clarity, and grammatical precision
• Fact-check information against reputable sources to uphold journalistic integrity
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and social media teams to create cohesive content across platforms
• Manage social media channels by scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and tracking performance metrics

Experience

• Proven experience in journalism or medical writing with a strong portfolio of published work
• Excellent research skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific data for general audiences
• Proficiency in AP style for professional writing standards
• Skilled in photography and videography, including basic editing and post-production techniques
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to reach diverse audiences effectively
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders
• Familiarity with social media management tools and content scheduling platforms
• Knowledge of fact-checking processes, copy editing, proofreading, and copywriting best practices

Pay: $30,653.08 - $59,797.25 per year
