Freelance Photographer / Videographer (Contract, As-Needed)

Job Overview
We’re looking to build a small, reliable network of freelance photographers and videographers to support a variety of client projects on an as-needed basis. This is not a fixed-hour role—projects will vary month to month depending on client needs.

Estimated workload averages around ~5 hours per month, with potential to grow.

This role involves capturing and producing high-quality visual content across a range of industries. You’ll play a key part in creating content used for marketing campaigns, social media, and brand development—delivering visuals that are clean, engaging, and aligned with each client’s brand.

Project Types May Include

• Sports photography and videography
• Headshots (individual and team)
• Brand and lifestyle photoshoots
• Product photography (preferred experience)

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photo and video content for client projects
• Edit and deliver fully polished, platform-ready content (color, audio, cuts, formatting)
• Manage post-production workflows including color correction and sound editing
• Collaborate with clients or internal teams to align on creative direction and deliverables
• Maintain organized files and media assets for each project
• Adapt shooting and editing style based on brand and project needs

What We’re Looking For

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work (sports, branding, or product work is a plus)
• Video editing is required
• Experience creating content for marketing or social media
• Ability to work across different environments (events, outdoor, studio, etc.)
• Reliable communication and turnaround times
• Located in or able to work in the Twin Cities / Western Wisconsin area
• Drone videography experience is a bonus

Experience creating content for marketing and social media is strongly preferred (content performance across platforms).

Compensation

• Project-based / hourly (varies by assignment)
