Freelance Planner (Primavera / Microsoft Project) – Site Supervision (Part-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to support a high-end architectural and interior project in Doha.
The position involves periodic on-site supervision (1 day per week) to verify actual progress and maintain updated project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend the project site once per week to assess and record work progress.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather accurate progress data.
  • Update and maintain the master schedule using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Identify potential delays, analyze critical path impacts, and propose mitigation actions.
  • Prepare concise weekly or monthly progress reports summarizing key findings and milestones.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Planner / Scheduler for construction or architectural projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of project sequencing, MEP coordination, and finishing trades progress tracking.
  • analytical and reporting skills.
  • Availability to attend site 1 day per week in Doha.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience within Qatar or GCC.

Compensation

  • Freelance engagement, paid monthly based on agreed rate and attendance.
  • Approximate commitment: 20% of full-time equivalent (4–5 site visits per month).
  • Mandatory: Applicants must specify their proposed monthly rate corresponding to 20% attendance (1 day per week) in their application. Applications without this information will not be considered.
