Freelance Plumber

We are an independent construction and specialist equipment company based just outside Banbury, working across a wide range of commercial construction projects throughout the UK. As our projects continue to grow, we are looking to work with a reliable and experienced freelance plumber to support our operations on a flexible, site-by-site basis.

This role will involve working both independently and alongside our site teams on live construction projects. The successful individual will be proactive, professional, and able to respond quickly to changing site requirements. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments is essential.

The Role:

You will support our projects across multiple construction sites, carrying out a range of plumbing-related duties, including:

• Installation, testing, maintenance, and removal of specialist floor drying equipment on construction sites.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment in-house, including boilers, dehumidifiers, and associated systems.
• Carrying out PAT testing, basic repairs, part replacements, and identifying any equipment damage.
• Accurately recording equipment movements, service logs, and maintenance paperwork.
• Supporting the wider team with equipment preparation and logistics.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety requirements.
• Representing the company professionally when working on client sites.
• Responding promptly to changing site requirements and working with efficiency to meet tight project timelines.

Skills & Experience:

• Interest in construction or site-based work.
• PAT testing experience desirable but not essential.
• Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge essential.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong work ethic.
• A clear sense of urgency and ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• CSCS card required.
