Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Podcast Video Editor to join our team. The role involves editing long-form podcast episodes and transforming them into engaging, high-quality content for YouTube and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form podcast videos into professional final outputs.
• Create short-form reels/clips for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Add intros, outros, transitions, graphics, subtitles, and animations to enhance viewer engagement.
• Sync audio and video for clear and crisp quality.
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams to maintain brand aesthetics.
• Ensure timely delivery of edited content as per schedule.
• Stay updated with current trends in podcast editing and social media formats.

· Edit the full-length video with smooth transitions and modern editing techniques

· Create an engaging trailer/teaser from the main video

· Apply professional color grading for a polished look

· Prepare useful raw cut-downs specifically for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

· Edit and finalize Reels and Shorts optimized for social media trends

· Thumbnail design is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, After effects
• Experience in podcast editing / YouTube channel editing is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of audio editing, noise reduction, and sound balancing.
• Ability to add captions, graphics, and engaging elements.
• Knowledge of social media content trends (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok-style).
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
