Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and adaptable freelance PPC Advertising Specialist to assist with Google Ads account maintenance and optimization. This is a remote, flexible contractor role with 10-20 hours per month (depending on task flow), offering the potential for additional hours as new projects arise.
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour (rate varies per project)
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, launch, and maintain Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube.
- Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and bid strategy optimization.
- Write compelling ad copy and A/B test ad content to improve performance.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.) and provide insights.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager.
- Optimize landing pages and ad funnels to improve conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date with Google Ads trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Provide weekly internal updates and monthly performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop compelling ads and powerful lead generation.
Skills Required/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing high-budget PPC campaigns.
- Deep understanding of Google Ads bidding strategies, Quality Score, audience targeting, and ad formats.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Developer Tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with conversion rate optimization and landing page testing.
- Knowledge of negative keyword strategies, remarketing, and audience targeting.
- Experience with third-party PPC tools (SEMrush, SpyFu, Opteo, or similar).
- Google Ads Certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present campaign insights to our team.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Google Ads (freelance or agency experience preferred)
- MUST submit example work that showcases a proven track record of results (portfolio, reporting decks, example work, etc.)
- Strong understanding of 3rd-party PPC research tools (SEMrush, SpyFu, Opteo, or similar)
