We’re a dynamic social media and digital marketing agency that partners with leading brands to craft impactful stories and campaigns. We’re seeking a Freelance PR & Social Media Executive with strong experience in media relations and personal branding to handle PR for our co-founder and manage the social media presence of both the agency and the co-founder.
Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for managing public relations strategy, securing media coverage, and building thought leadership for the co-founder — while ensuring the agency maintains a strong digital presence across social platforms. The role is ideal for someone who blends creativity with strategic thinking and has a keen eye for storytelling and positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations:
- Plan and execute PR strategies to strengthen the brand presence of the co-founder and the agency.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, articles, and thought leadership pieces.
- Build and nurture media relationships across digital, print, and influencer networks.
- Identify speaking opportunities, event participation, and feature stories.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance reports.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow LinkedIn and Instagram accounts for both the agency and the co-founder.
- Create monthly content calendars and collaborate with designers for post creation.
- Write impactful captions and thought leadership content aligned with brand tone.
- Track social media analytics and share monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build an authentic online presence.
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or Social Media (preferably agency side).
- Strong media network and knowledge of digital PR trends.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in managing executive or brand-level personal branding.
- Proficient in using PR and social media management tools (e.g., Meltwater, Notion, Later, Buffer, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and attend 4 in-office meetings per month for brainstorming, reviews, and coordination.
