Freelance School Coordinator / Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic and Program Coordination:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and academic calendar.
  • Coordinate and schedule academic activities, including exams, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Monitor student progress and academic performance, and assist in identifying students who may need additional support.
  • Support teachers in lesson planning, resource management, and professional development.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events.

2. Communication and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Facilitate effective communication between teachers, students, and administration.
  • Organize and lead meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and distribute school newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
  • Mediate conflicts and resolve issues among students, staff, or parents.

3. Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure all school activities and operations are in compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of school safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure that all school records and data are handled with confidentiality and in accordance with privacy laws.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Education, School Administration, or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree is often preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting, such as a teacher, school administrator, or coordinator, is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in using school management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
