Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic and Program Coordination:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the school's curriculum and academic calendar.
- Coordinate and schedule academic activities, including exams, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Monitor student progress and academic performance, and assist in identifying students who may need additional support.
- Support teachers in lesson planning, resource management, and professional development.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular activities, clubs, and school events.
2. Communication and Stakeholder Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Facilitate effective communication between teachers, students, and administration.
- Organize and lead meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Create and distribute school newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
- Mediate conflicts and resolve issues among students, staff, or parents.
3. Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure all school activities and operations are in compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of school policies and procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of school safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Ensure that all school records and data are handled with confidentiality and in accordance with privacy laws.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Education, School Administration, or a related field is typically required. A Master's degree is often preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting, such as a teacher, school administrator, or coordinator, is highly desirable.
