This is a temporary and remote Freelance Sinhala or Tamil-English Interpreter role based in Sri Lanka. The interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate oral interpretation between Sinhala or Tamil and English, ensuring clear communication. Tasks may include conveying conversations in real time, preparing for interpretation assignments, and adhering to confidentiality requirements. The interpreter will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate effective multilingual communication.

• Proficiency in both Sinhala or Tamil and English, with strong oral and written language skills.
• Demonstrated experience or expertise in interpretation, including consecutive or simultaneous interpretation.
• Strong cultural understanding and awareness in both Sinhala or Tamil-speaking and English-speaking contexts.
• Effective communication, active listening, and adaptability in dynamic conversational settings.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Prior experience in the language services or interpretation field is advantageous.
• Availability to work flexible hours and deliver services remotely.
