At Olive Ateliers, social is the front door. We’re not chasing trends—we’re creating cultural moments and storytelling with staying power.


We’re looking for a freelance Social Content Specialist to join us on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time, in-house role if it feels like the right fit for both sides. This freelance-to-hire approach gives us the chance to collaborate closely, ensure alignment, and build toward a long-term partnership.


You’ll be the architect of Olive’s digital presence: producing scroll-stopping, social-native storytelling that expands our reach, deepens engagement, and cements our place in the cultural conversation. This role is ideal for a visionary creator who knows what makes a Reel go viral, how to reimagine TikTok trends through an aspirational lens, and why Pinterest is as much a search engine as it is a moodboard. At your core, you’re a creator—but one who pairs instinct with strategy, and artistry with analytics.


What You’ll Do


Content Creation (Core Focus)

  • Concept, produce, film, and edit social-native content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Pins) that feels aspirational, authentic, and built to perform.
  • Bring Olive’s brand world to life through inventive storytelling—behind-the-scenes sourcing, campaign moments, lifestyle-driven narratives.
  • Ensure all content embodies Olive’s tone, look, and feel while pushing creative boundaries.


Organic & Social Strategy (Through a Creative Lens)

  • Partner with the Brand & Partnerships Lead and Chief Brand Officer to shape a strategy that balances evergreen storytelling with high-impact campaign moments.
  • Own Olive’s organic presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Build and manage content calendars, weaving together day-to-day storytelling, cultural moments, and launches.
  • Spot and adapt platform trends, translating them into content opportunities that feel distinctively Olive.


Community Engagement (Storytelling in Dialogue)

  • Lead Olive’s daily dialogue with its community, ensuring every interaction deepens connection and brings the brand voice to life.
  • Partner with Customer Experience on inquiries or concerns, while focusing your energy on cultural engagement and storytelling.


Performance & Insights

  • Track content performance with a data-driven lens.
  • Report learnings to leadership, ensuring every piece of content feels iconic and delivers measurable impact.
  • Balance artistry with analytics—every creative decision backed by instinct and insight.


What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of social media experience in lifestyle, interiors, fashion, or beauty (brand or agency).
  • Proven track record of creating high-performing social campaigns and viral content.
  • Strong creative instincts with technical skills in content creation and editing.
  • Deep knowledge of IG, TikTok, and Pinterest best practices.
  • Highly organized, agile, and responsive to a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in home furnishings, interiors, and Olive’s vision.
  • Must submit proof of past work (campaigns, content examples).


What We’re Offering

  • Type: 1099 Contractor, project-based (16–24 hours/week average, flexible based on workflow)
  • Hourly contractor rate: $35–$75 , depending on experience.
  • Opportunity to transition into a full-time, in-house role with salary + benefits if the fit is mutual.
