Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a freelanced Software Engineer (CodeBuddy). Preference for individuals living in U.S. time zones. The Software Engineer (CodeBuddy) will develop reliable and efficient software solutions, engage in back-end web development, and manage programming tasks using object-oriented programming principles. Utilize AI coding assistants to develop software for clients. The role involves programming, problem-solving, and collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in line with client requirements.

Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Science principles

Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development

AI system knowledge preferred but not required

3 years of experience in C#, React, and Azure preferred

Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks is a plus

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Passion for working with AI/LLMs.

Desired Skills

Experience in Azure, GitHub, Supabase is a strong plus.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

Excellent debugging and optimization skills.

LLM training is a plus.

Progressive web app or electron development is not required but is a plus.
