Freelance Squarespace & Digital Content Designer (Remote)

Job Summary
Eleven11 Interiors is seeking a freelance Squarespace & Digital Content Designer to support ongoing marketing and web needs on a flexible, remote basis. This role focuses on designing and updating Squarespace pages, creating on-brand graphics and light video content, and repurposing that content for social media and email marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update website pages and landing pages in Squarespace, ensuring layouts are visually strong and on brand.
• Create digital assets (graphics, simple animations, short-form video snippets) that can be used on the website, in email campaigns, and across social media platforms.
• Adapt and resize existing visuals and video for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, optimizing for each channel’s format and best practices.
• Design simple email newsletters and campaign templates in tools like Mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Ensure all digital assets follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across channels.
• Apply basic SEO and web best practices when updating site content and page structure.
• Coordinate with the principal to plan and prioritize content needs, timelines, and deliverables, communicating clearly about progress and requirements.

Experience

• Proven experience in web and digital design, with a strong portfolio that includes Squarespace sites and social media or email marketing assets.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (or equivalent tools like Canva for quick-turn content).​
• Hands-on experience designing and editing content in Squarespace (layouts, sections, galleries, basic styling, and light customizations).​
• Comfortable creating and exporting short-form video content (e.g., reels, simple motion graphics) using tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, or similar.​
• Understanding of social media formats and best practices for visual content on platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn.​
• Experience designing email templates and newsletters in tools like Mailchimp, Flodesk, or similar.​
• Strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and ability to manage multiple small projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio and recommendations required

This is a freelance, remote position with flexible hours, ideal for a digital designer who enjoys combining web, visual design, and content repurposing across multiple channels.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 4 per week
