FREELANCE TECHNICAL DESIGNER WANTED — NYC Interior Design Studio

Bond Design Studio is a growing New York City-based interior design firm covering the tristate area. We are looking for an experienced freelance Technical Designer to join our team ASAP, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a busy and growing studio looking for a detail-oriented, experienced technical designer to support our lead designer with construction documentation and drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Producing and managing construction drawings and packages in AutoCAD
• 3D modeling and visualization in SketchUp
• FF&E documentation support
• Collaborating closely with our design team to meet project deadlines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in technical interior design documentation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (please include samples with your application)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience with FF&E documentation is a plus
• Ability to start immediately

DETAILS

• Freelance / contract position (~10 hours per week)
• Flexible — remote or hybrid
• Rate: up to $40/hour
• Potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate
