Employment Type: Freelance Technical Designer
Duration: Minimum 3 months at 3-4x per week
Position Overview: Assist in various technical design tasks, from organizing samples to sending packages globally. This role emphasizes a positive attitude, and collaboration with the design team. Join Roller Rabbit for a fulfilling experience, gaining valuable insights into the NY Fashion industry and contributing to the technical aspects of fashion design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure SMS, PP, TOP samples and prepare tech packs.
- Review fit sample notes with team to discuss fit, proportions, overall production timeline.
- Work with technical design team to write fit comments across all categories (RTW, Lounge, PJ’s, Women’s & Kids)
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Be
- 4+ years of technical design experience
- Positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of Excel and Illustrator is a plus.
- Creative can-do spirit.
- Good communicator, organized, punctual, and a team player.
- Cando attitude, self-starter, outgoing, and organized.
- Educational Background: Fashion Design and/or Technical Design preferred but not required.
Salary
$1 - $2 per hour
