Extensive work experience working on translation projects or companies within the GCC / Middle East region is highly valued, as many assignments require familiarity with regional terminology, regulations, and cultural context.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English 8+ years of professional translation experience Experience with GCC / Middle East content strongly preferred Legal translators must hold Ministry of Justice certification (or equivalent) Proven experience across professional or specialized domains Strong understanding of cultural nuance and regional terminology Excellent attention to detail and linguistic accuracy Commitment on finalizing the translation projects in rapid turnarounds Ability to work independently and meet deadlines A strong portfolio of previous work and strong references

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with translation agencies or localization teams Familiarity with translation platforms or AI-assisted translation workflows Experience across multiple industries or specialized subject areas Previous work with GCC or Middle East clients
