Freelance UI/UX Designer (Remote)

The Mighty Apes is looking for a talented and creative Freelance UI/UX Designer to join our team on a remote project basis. We are seeking someone with a strong eye for design, a solid understanding of user experience, and the ability to create clean, engaging, and high-converting digital interfaces.

This role is ideal for a designer who can balance creativity with functionality and is confident in transforming ideas into intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for web and digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design modern, user-friendly, and visually appealing website apps and software interfaces
• Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes
• Develop clean and consistent UI systems aligned with brand guidelines
• Collaborate with our internal team to translate concepts into effective digital experiences
• Improve user journeys and overall usability across projects
• Use design thinking and problem-solving skills to create results-driven solutions
• Maintain quality, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the design process

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including:
• Auto Layout
• Components
• Prototyping
• Hands-on experience with AI tools to speed up workflow or support asset generation

Strong understanding of:

• User interface design
• User experience principles
• Layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Responsive design for desktop and mobile
• Ability to create clear wireframes and polished high-fidelity designs
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver quality work remotely
• Experience designing landing pages, dashboards, websites, or SaaS platforms
• Experience designing for agencies, startups, or fast-paced creative teams
• Knowledge of design systems and scalable UI libraries
