Freelance Fishing Videographer / Content Creator (Nantucket, MA | Summer, 1–2 Days per Week)

Job Overview
We are seeking a freelance videographer/editor to join us on offshore fishing charters out of Nantucket, MA, capturing and producing high-quality video and social media content aboard a 36’ Yellowfin. This is a hands-on, on-the-water role. You will be filming real-time fishing action (tuna, offshore trips), editing engaging content, and helping create a consistent stream of social media and vlog-style videos throughout the summer. The ideal candidate is comfortable on boats, understands fast-paced action filming, and has a strong sense for storytelling in outdoor, fishing, or adventure content.

Key Responsibilities
Join fishing charters (typically 1–2 days per week) to film onboard content; capture high-quality video of fishing action, boat lifestyle, and offshore scenery; operate handheld cameras, GoPros, and drones (when conditions allow); edit footage into YouTube-style fishing vlogs and short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok); deliver fast-turnaround edits optimized for social media; assist with posting and maintaining a consistent content schedule; organize and manage video footage across trips.

Requirements
Must be comfortable spending full days on a boat in offshore conditions; strong videography and editing skills (action/outdoor content preferred); proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar; ability to capture fast, unpredictable moments (fish strikes, landings, etc.); experience with GoPro, drone, and/or action camera setups preferred; reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Preferred (Not Required)
Fishing or boating experience; experience creating YouTube or social-first content; understanding of storytelling in outdoor/adventure content.

Compensation
Paid per trip (rate based on experience); consistent work throughout the summer (1–2 days per week); opportunity for ongoing work beyond the season.
