We are a hospitality and media supporting company producing food and lifestyle content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Video Editor to provide video editing services on a project basis. This is a contractor role focused on deliverables, not hours worked.

Scope of Services

• Edit short-form and occasional long-form video content
• Incorporate music, captions, transitions, and visual effects
• Deliver final edited videos based on agreed project specifications
• Perform revisions as outlined in the project scope

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in video editing (portfolio required)
• Proficiency with editing software of your choice
• Ability to deliver completed work by agreed deadlines
• Familiarity with social media content formats is a plus

Compensation

• Fixed fee per project, agreed in advance based on scope
• Payment issued upon delivery and approval of agreed deliverables

Independent Contractor Terms

• This is a freelance, independent contractor role, not employment
• Contractor retains control over how, when, and where work is performed
• Contractor is responsible for their own equipment, software, and expenses
• No benefits, insurance, or employment-related compensation will be provided
• Contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes and filings (e.g., IRS Form W-9 / 1099-NEC in the U.S.)
• Nothing in this engagement creates an employer-employee relationship
