Freelance/Contractor Videographer

Interested in live sports production?

WGBA, the E.W. Scripps NBC station in Green Bay is now hiring for a contractor/Freelance Videographer to perform Sports Production.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Capture visual content for multiple platforms
• Operate and maintain live equipment in various weather conditions during sporting events
• Setup and teardown equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• A basic knowledge of sports (Football & Basketball).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required. In addition, proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Proficiency with lighting and computer-based editing.
• Proficiency with live microwave truck operation.
• Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws.
• Able to work efficiently under deadlines.
• Team player mentality.
