Role Overview

We are looking for a Freelancer Acquisition Intern who enjoys working with people, building communities, and organizing systems.

Your main responsibility will be to help build a high-quality freelancer network by sourcing, screening, onboarding, and supporting professionals across tech and digital domains.

Responsibilities

Freelancer Sourcing

• Identify skilled freelancers (developers, designers, marketers, analysts, etc.)
• Source from LinkedIn, GitHub, communities, colleges, freelancing groups
• Promote HeroFreelancers across online platforms

Screening & Onboarding

• Review profiles, CVs, and portfolios
• Conduct basic screening calls/chats
• Verify skills, experience, and availability
• Assist in onboarding and profile completion

Database & Skill Mapping

• Maintain freelancer database
• Tag skills, experience level, and availability
• Help build categorized talent pools

Community & Engagement

• Welcome new freelancers
• Share updates, opportunities, and resources
• Collect feedback and improvement suggestions

Support & Coordination

• Help in matching freelancers to projects
• Assist in documentation and process improvement
• Support relationship managers and operations
