About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Freelancer ECCE Editor specializing in Foundational Stage (Nursery, LKG, UKG / Ages 3–8). The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in early childhood pedagogy, curriculum understanding, and age-appropriate content editing aligned with NEP 2020.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, review, and refine ECCE content for Foundational Stage books, workbooks, activity sheets, and teacher resources.
• Ensure content accuracy, age appropriateness, conceptual clarity, and alignment with learning outcomes.
• Improve the structure, language, and pedagogy of lessons, stories, rhymes, activities, and worksheets.
• Ensure child-friendly tone, visual cues, and interactive learning strategies.
• Work closely with authors, designers, and subject experts to maintain quality and consistency in all materials.
• Apply NEP 2020 guidelines and NCF-FS (National Curriculum Framework – Foundational Stage) while editing content.
• Check for grammar, flow, readability, and alignment with the school curriculum.
• Provide feedback for improving illustrations, design layouts, and activity formats.
• Maintain timelines and deliver high-quality edited files within deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECCE / Child Development / Education / Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in early childhood teaching, content development, or educational publishing.
• Strong understanding of Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN), NCF-FS, and NEP 2020.
• Excellent command over English with strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to create and refine engaging, age-appropriate content.
• Knowledge of early learning tools, activities, play-based pedagogy, and classroom practices.
• Familiarity with publishing workflow and digital document editing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing/editing preschool books or FLN content.
• Creative thinking and understanding of visual learning for young children.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments with consistency and accuracy.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
