About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Freelancer English Lesson Plan Developer to design structured, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans for Classes 1 to 5. The ideal candidate must have strong subject knowledge, understanding of school curriculum requirements, and experience in developing classroom-ready teaching resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, step-by-step English lesson plans aligned with the curriculum for Classes 1 to 5.
• Prepare lesson objectives, teaching strategies, warm-up tasks, explanations, guided practice, and assessment activities.
• Create engaging worksheets, classroom activities, grammar exercises, and learning extensions.
• Ensure the lesson plans meet learning outcomes and cater to mixed-ability classrooms.
• Align content with CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020, and experiential learning approaches.
• Integrate creative methods such as storytelling, phonics, group work, role-play, and interactive tasks.
• Review and refine content for clarity, accuracy, and child-friendly language.
• Coordinate with editors and designers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Deliver completed lesson plans within the project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English / Education / B.Ed / Elementary Education or related field.
• 2–5 years of teaching or content-development experience for Classes 1 to 5.
• Strong command of grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and age-appropriate pedagogy.
• Ability to design structured, engaging, and creative lesson plans.
• Understanding of activity-based learning, phonics, reading strategies, and formative assessment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and instructional design skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing school textbooks, teacher manuals, or curriculum resources.
• Knowledge of digital content development (optional).
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
