Freelancer / Individual / Vendor Requirement: Akan, Iu Mien, Hmong, and Lao Transcription Services

Gaura Nitai Technologies (GNT) is looking for freelancers, individual contributors, and company vendors for a transcription project across the following languages:

• Akan (Ghana) – ak_GH
• Iu Mien (US diaspora – Laotian dialect) – ium_US
• Hmong (US diaspora – Hmong Daw + Mong Leng) – hmn_US
• Lao (Laos) – lo_LA

Project Scope

• Task Type: Transcription only (No QA required)
• Execution Platform: SageMaker Ground Truth
• Job Location: United States
• Work Mode: Remote / Work from Office
• Requirement: 200 participants per language

All audio files, transcription guidelines, and submission templates will be provided by GNT.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate verbatim transcription
• Follow language-specific orthography and transcription guidelines
• Ensure no omissions, additions, or paraphrasing
• Apply speaker labeling where required
