Description

Responsibilities:

  • Processing TL and/or LTL carrier paperwork and approving carrier invoices through the TMS (TruckMate) or Aljex systems to pay carriers and upload documents
  • Maintain the paperwork email box and audit various documents and paperwork for accuracy, confirm charges are accurate, and adjust invoice line items when necessary
  • Communicate and provide follow-up with carriers on missing invoices and paperwork and upload documents to FST portals via internet
  • Meet weekly and monthly deadlines to ensure auditing is completed timely and handle invoice discrepancies and/or requests pertaining to invoices submitted by carriers
  • You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST.

Requirements:

  • Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
  • 1+ year experience with billing (transportation billing experience strongly preferred)
  • Desire to coach and train new employees
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires you to manage various documents and tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent time management skills; work with weekly and monthly billing goals and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills via phone and e-mail
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle billing discrepancies
  • Detail oriented with intermediate math skills
