What You’ll Do

• Manage the full lifecycle of freight: from tendering and carrier vetting to tracking, POD collection, and close-out.
• Build and grow long-term shipper relationships while identifying new opportunities.
• Ensure carrier compliance and prevent double-brokering or payment fraud.
• Oversee refrigerated and high-care shipments to maintain temperature and sanitary standards.
• Lead exception management and claims coordination (OS&D, accessorials, reconciliations).
• Partner with dedicated operations staff for track-and-trace and overnight coverage so you never carry the load alone.

What You’ll Get

• Pay Range (CA SB 1162): $50,000–$150,000 base salary
• Additional Compensation: Uncapped commissions (10–30%) with tiered accelerators
• Earnings Indicator: Top performers commonly reach ~$250,000 total annual earnings

Who You Are

• 5+ years of freight brokerage experience with direct shipper interaction
• Proven record of managing and growing customer relationships and margin
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of carrier networks, pricing strategy, and compliance
• Experience with refrigerated or high-care freight is a plus
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working remotely
