Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals looking to build a career in logistics and supply chain management. The Freight Broker will be responsible for coordinating transportation between shippers and carriers while ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers
• Match available loads with suitable carriers based on capacity, routes, and pricing
• Negotiate rates and terms to ensure competitive pricing and profitability
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and contracts
• Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues
• Provide excellent customer service to shippers and carriers
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and regulations
• Maintain accurate records in freight brokerage systems and databases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven experience with OTR and Drayage
• Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Freight Broker or in logistics/supply chain
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
