Location: phase 8-b mohali
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Reports To: Logistics Manager / Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to coordinate and manage the movement of freight between shippers and carriers. Working early morning hours from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, you’ll ensure timely pickups and deliveries, negotiate rates, and maintain positive relationships with clients and carriers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys solving problems on the go.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure transportation of goods
• Source, onboard, and maintain a network of reliable carriers
• Negotiate freight rates and ensure profitability on each load
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient movement of freight
• Track and monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
• Resolve issues or delays in transit, including coordinating with drivers and dispatch
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations
• Build and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships
• Use transportation management software (TMS) to manage orders and generate reports

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a freight broker, dispatcher, or in a logistics role (1–3 years preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiarity with TMS software and load boards
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,079.36 per month
