Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our logistics team as a Fresher Freight Broker. As a freight broker, you will act as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods across the country. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in logistics and gain hands-on experience in freight operations and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the freight brokerage process, including load booking, carrier sourcing, and shipment tracking.
• Assist in identifying and onboarding reliable carriers and shippers.
• Support the negotiation of rates and terms between carriers and shippers under supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of loads, shipments, and carrier agreements.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with shippers and carriers.
• Monitor shipments and resolve any delivery issues, delays, or route changes.
• Build strong relationships with carriers and clients for long-term business.
• Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other tools to manage loads.
• Provide excellent customer service by keeping all parties informed of load statuses.
• Adhere to company policies and industry regulations regarding freight brokerage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of the logistics and transportation industry (training provided).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
