Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our on-site logistics team for United States. This position requires working from our office and collaborating closely with operations, carrier management, and sales leadership to manage freight movement from pickup through delivery. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with shippers and carriers

Source, price, and book freight across multiple equipment types (FTL, LTL, flatbed, drayage, intermodal, heavy haul, and specialized freight)

Negotiate rates with carriers and customers to meet margin targets

Coordinate shipment execution and monitor loads to ensure on-time delivery

Communicate shipment status, delays, and resolutions clearly to customers and internal teams

Ensure all carrier documentation, insurance, and compliance requirements are met

Maintain accurate records in TMS and internal systems

Resolve service issues quickly and professionally

Meet daily activity expectations and monthly performance goals

Required Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume office environment

Sales-driven mindset with negotiation confidence

Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and office software

Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full-time

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales

Familiarity with TMS platforms and load boards

Understanding of U.S. transportation markets and equipment types

Existing shipper or carrier relationships (preferred but not required)
