Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 / Hour (Based on Experience)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the activities associated with the transportation of products from suppliers into the network.
- Optimize daily transport planning in the most efficient way for customers.
- Maintain delivery scheduled and track deliveries to ensure delivery requirements are met.
- Maintain proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment Administration
- Track and Trace
- Proof of Delivery
- Over, short and damaged shipment issues
- Evaluates, records, and responds to additional/special service requests (i.e. lift-gate, inside delivery, etc.)
- Meet on time delivery (OTD) requirements and follow up on discrepancies with suppliers and Customer Service
- Adequately and proactively inform all external and internal customers
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Highly effective communications skills, both verbally and written
- Interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Functional knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics or Freight is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Problem solving skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Import/Export experience a plus
- Software skills: Excel, Work, Microsoft 365, Teams, and other related platforms
- Working knowledge of Cargo Wise preferred
- Excellent attendance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- 1+ years’ experience in work related field
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and typing on a computer
