Position: Business Development Manager (Freight Forwarding & Logistics)Job Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence in the freight and logistics industry. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight, and logistics services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and agents.
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Meet monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings to promote company services.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics business development.
  • Strong understanding of air freight, sea freight, and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
