About the Role

TransInter Logistics is looking for a proactive and experienced Freight Forwarding Lead to manage and oversee freight operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient shipment handling, maintain strong client relationships, and lead the freight forwarding team to deliver high-quality logistics services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily freight forwarding operations (air, sea, and land shipments)
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely deliveries
• Manage documentation processes including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays or issues proactively
• Lead and supervise the freight forwarding team, ensuring productivity and performance
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Prepare operational reports and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office
