Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Logistics Billing Clerk to oversee billing operations, manage freight invoicing, and align financial practices with organizational goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver efficient billing practices that support profitability, compliance, and long-term competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing Operations: Prepare, verify, and process invoices for freight and logistics services.
• Documentation Review: Ensure accuracy of shipping documents, tariffs, and billing records.
• Compliance Oversight: Maintain adherence to UAE regulations, IFRS standards, and internal financial policies.
• Risk Management: Identify billing discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Collaboration: Partner with operations, finance, and customer service teams to align billing practices with business objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed billing and reconciliation reports for management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of billing or financial management experience, with at least 2 years in freight or logistics-focused roles.
• Strong knowledge of logistics billing frameworks and UAE regulatory environments.
• Expertise in ERP systems, Excel, and billing management software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional logistics organizations preferred.
