Freight Manager – Global Logistics & Freight Operations

Our client is seeking an experienced Freight Manager to oversee and optimize global freight operations across international markets. The role focuses on freight strategy, carrier management, transportation cost optimization, and ensuring effi cient logistics operations for electronic goods worldwide.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in freight forwarding, logistics planning, carrier negotiations, and cost management, along with the ability to drive operational effi ciency, profi tability, and customer satisfaction across global markets.

Key Responsibilities (Important)

● Manage global freight operations, including rate negotiations with shipping lines, transporters, and logistics vendors

● Optimize transportation costs, carrier performance, and overall logistics effi ciency across international lanes

● Develop contingency strategies, improve freight processes, and identify operational improvements and automation opportunities

● Ensure freight spending aligns with approved budgets while maximizing profi tability and minimizing transportation costs

● Handle vendor management, billing reconciliation, rate reviews, reporting, and additional logistics responsibilities as required

Requirements

● Minimum 8 years of experience in freight operations, freight forwarding, or logistics management

● Degree in Shipping, Transportation, Logistics, or related discipline

● Strong experience managing international freight operations, preferably within electronics or technology-related industries

● Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder communication skills

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and operational planning abilities

● Profi cient in Microsoft Offi ce with strong attention to detail and reporting skills

● Strategic mindset with the ability to execute eff ectively across international markets and time zones

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• UAE: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
