Freight Pricing Analyst (RFP / RFQ)

You will sit at the center of Sales, Operations, and Carrier Strategy , influencing how we price, win, and execute freight across the country.


What You’ll Own

End-to-End RFP / RFQ Leadership

  • Own the full bid lifecycle: intake → strategy → modeling → submission → award analysis
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with Sales, Operations, and Carrier Services
  • Manage multiple high-value bids with precision, speed, and accuracy


Lane-Level Pricing Strategy

  • Build competitive, executable pricing models using:
  • Historical shipment data
  • Carrier costs
  • Market trends
  • Seasonality & network balance
  • Identify where to price aggressively vs. protect margin
  • Ensure pricing is both winnable and operationally sound


Market & Carrier Intelligence

  • Leverage real-time market insights to guide pricing decisions
  • Partner with Carrier Services to validate capacity and execution risk
  • Track rate trends, competitor signals, and lane volatility


What You Bring

Required

  • 3–7+ years in:
  • Freight brokerage pricing
  • Transportation analytics
  • RFP / RFQ management
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Truckload markets
  • Carrier economics
  • Contract vs. spot dynamics
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (modeling, pivots, scenario analysis)
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, commercial insights
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
