Freight Sales Agent– Asset-Based Trucking Company

We are an asset trucking company operating 35–40 dry van power units with trailer capacity available for drop trailer programs.

We are looking for an experienced Independent Freight Sales Agent(1099 contractor) to help us develop direct shipper relationships and recurring freight opportunities.

This is not an entry-level lead generation position. We are specifically looking for someone with existing transportation industry experience and an active book of business and/or existing shipper relationships.

About Us:
- Asset-based dry van carrier
- 35–40 power units
- Trailer capacity for drop trailer programs
- Strong Midwest / Ohio / PA / NJ / Southeast coverage
- Experience handling high-volume recurring freight
- Established operation with long-term contract freight experience

What We Are Looking For:
- Existing book of business and shipper relationships
- Experience selling transportation and logistics services
- Ability to bring recurring dry van freight opportunities
- Experience with direct shippers, dedicated freight, or contract freight
- Understanding of drop trailer operations is strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally with transportation managers and logistics teams

- Former freight broker sales representative
- Freight agent
- Transportation sales professional
- Existing logistics/freight sales network
- Experience working with dry van freight and recurring lanes

Compensation:
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Commission-based compensation

Pay: $60,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
