At Grocery Outlet, we are a locally owned and operated discount grocery store committed to providing our community with quality products at unbeatable prices. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our Freight Crew in Carson City.

Position Overview

The Freight Crew / Stocker is responsible for receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise throughout various departments of the store. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and organize incoming freight
• Stock shelves across multiple departments (grocery, produce, dairy, frozen, etc.)
• Rotate product and check expiration dates
• Operate pallet jacks and other stocking equipment safely
• Maintain backroom organization and cleanliness
• Assist customers with locating products as needed
• Follow all store safety procedures

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer areas
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Previous stocking or warehouse experience preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
