Freight Track and Trace Coordinator

Position Overview-

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Track & Trace Coordinator to manage real-time shipment visibility across our freight network. This role is responsible for monitoring active loads, communicating with carriers and drivers, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely updates.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly under pressure, and takes full ownership of load tracking from pickup to delivery.---

Key Responsibilities-

Monitor and track all active shipments from pickup through delivery - Proactively contact carriers/drivers for check calls and status updates - Update internal systems and customers with accurate, real-time information - Identify and escalate delays, issues, or service failures immediately - Maintain consistent communication with dispatch, operations, and customers - Verify pickup and delivery times, including POD (Proof of Delivery) collection - Ensure all tracking information is documented and up to date - Assist in resolving service issues such as late deliveries, missed appointments, or detention -

Daily Expectations-

Manage tracking for 20–50+ active loads simultaneously - Perform scheduled check calls (pickup, in transit, delivery) - Send proactive updates before customers ask - Escalate problems early—not after they become bigger issues -

Qualifications- Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or dispatch preferred - Strong communication skills (phone, email, and text) - High attention to detail and ability to multitask - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Basic knowledge of freight terminology (PODs, detention, layover, etc.) - Experience with TMS systems is a plus
