Two French-Speaking ROTA Nannies (Live-In) – New York City
We are seeking two highly experienced, professional ROTA Nannies to support a warm, private family based in New York City. This is a 6-month, live-in rotational position caring for one infant and one 5-year-old, ideal for a career nanny who thrives in structured, team-oriented environments and values both excellence and discretion.
This role follows a 2 or 3 weeks on / 2 or 3 weeks off rotation, offering a balanced schedule with generous time off between shifts.
Position Overview
- Location: New York City (live-in during scheduled rotation)
- Start Date: First week of August
- Schedule: 24/7 support, 2–3 weeks on / 2–3 weeks off
- Duration: 6-month contract
- Compensation: Starting at $70,000+ (for 6 months), DOE
- Benefits: Health stipend, PTO, Sick Time
Children
- Infant: Primary focus on attentive, developmentally appropriate care
- 5-Year-Old: School-aged support, routine management, and engagement
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional, attentive care for both children, with a strong understanding of infant needs and early childhood development
- Maintain consistent routines including feeding, sleep, hygiene, and developmental activities
- Support school-age child with daily routines, play, and enrichment
- Bring a high-energy, proactive approach to caregiving, engaging both children in stimulating, age-appropriate activities throughout the day
- Travel-ready and able to seamlessly transition care during rotation changes
- Collaborate respectfully with parents and any additional household staff
- Maintain a clean, organized environment for the children
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny or newborn care experience
- Prior ROTA experience strongly preferred
- Confident caring for both infants and young children simultaneously
- Fluent in both French and English (strong speaking skills required) — French language use is an important part of the children’s daily environment, so candidates must be comfortable communicating consistently in French
- High energy level, positive attitude, and the ability to keep up with the physical and developmental needs of young children
- Calm, adaptable, and able to integrate into an established household rhythm
- Passport-ready and open to both domestic and international travel
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

- Comfortable with live-in arrangements during working weeks
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
