Job Description: French TeacherPosition Summary

The French Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered instruction in the French language and Francophone cultures. The teacher will design lessons that promote language acquisition, communication skills, cultural understanding, and academic growth. This role involves assessment, curriculum planning, and active participation in school activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Instruction

• Plan and deliver effective French lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French at beginner to advanced levels.
• Use diverse instructional strategies to support different learning styles.
• Integrate Francophone culture, history, and literature into lessons.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Assessment & Feedback

• Develop and administer quizzes, tests, projects, and oral assessments.
• Track and document student progress; provide timely feedback.
• Communicate academic performance to students, parents, and administrators.

Curriculum & Planning

• Create lesson plans, learning materials, and activities to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into instruction.

Classroom Management

• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
• Foster respect, responsibility, and a culture of learning.

Professional Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary projects and school events.
• Supervise extracurricular language or culture clubs (optional).
• Uphold school policies and mission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
