Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Design and implement engaging, CBSE-aligned French lessons, incorporating interactive activities, multimedia, and potentially AI tools.
- Language Instruction: Develop proficiency in all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) through immersive practices and varied strategies.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress via tests, assignments, and oral work, providing constructive feedback and reporting to parents.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined environment that encourages participation.
- Cultural Integration: Introduce French culture, traditions, and geography to provide a holistic understanding.
- Collaboration: Work with other teachers for interdisciplinary connections and attend parent-teacher meetings.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and language advancements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's in French, Linguistics, or Education.
- Proficiency: Native or near-native French fluency (DELF B2/C1 level often preferred).
- Certification: DELF/DALF certification is a significant plus.
- Experience: Previous French teaching experience in CBSE or similar schools.
- Skills: Strong instructional design, assessment, intercultural communication, classroom management, and use of educational technology.
