French Tutor

Job Overview
Sivion Academy is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate French Tutor to join our growing language education team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in French and English, experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds, and a solid understanding of TEF Canada / French language frameworks.

This role involves delivering high-quality French instruction to students preparing for Canadian immigration (PR), academic goals, career advancement, and personal development. You will play a key role in helping students build confidence, improve communication skills, and achieve measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Teach French language to beginners and advanced learners
• Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions
• Prepare students for TEF Canada (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
• Create and deliver customized lesson plans based on student needs
• Help students with: Grammar and vocabulary, Pronunciation and speaking confidence, Exam preparation and mock tests
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback
• Maintain a positive, professional, and encouraging classroom environment
• Follow Sivion Academy’s curriculum and teaching standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in French tutoring or teaching
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
• Passion for education and student success

Preferred (Assets):

• Experience teaching TEF Canada
• DELF / DALF / TEF / TCF or similar certification
• Experience teaching immigrants or international students
• Educational background in French, linguistics, or teaching
