Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh-cut produce items with precision, following safety and quality standards
• Stock shelves and display cases efficiently to maximize visual appeal and accessibility
• Manage inventory levels using inventory control systems to prevent stock shortages or overstocking
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely for loading, unloading, and moving produce shipments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, including cleaning displays, packaging stations, and storage areas
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about produce options, and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory accurately using inventory management systems and RF scanners
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while handling produce loads or stock items
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory control purposes
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.38 - $25.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
